Facts:
A) 2 small slimes merge into 1 big slime at 1 stack.
B) 2 big slimes at X and Y stacks merge into 1 big slime at (X+Y) stacks.
How we did it: ((((1+1)+1)+1)+1)*3 = 15 small slimes forming 3 big slimes at 4 stacks each.
This ended up with us having to bring in a new slime kiter every 5 slimes, with all slime kiters full at around the 10% mark. We got very lucky at the end with the additional small slimes not getting together, shock pulling the big slime off Lunar when he got infected, and the big slime not absorbing any of the loose small ones.
The better way: ((1+1)+(1+1)+(1+1)+(1+1))*3 = 24 small slimes forming 3 big slimes at 4 stacks each.
We would only have needed to bring in a new kiter every 8 slimes, and would not have had any small slimes loose at the end. We could even have left each big slime at 3 stacks and still been able to absorb 18 small ones, which would also have left Lunar free to merge his final infection with his existing big slime.
